Maths Classes
01
How do I book onto a class?
Simply send an email or complete the waiting list form. I will then promptly be in contact to organise a place for your child on your chosen class.
02
Will my child miss out on the learning if they can’t attend a lesson?
If your child can’t make the in-person or live online lesson that week there is no need to worry about missing out on learning. Recorded lessons of the learning are provided each week for students to catch up on their own time.
03
What platform do you use for your live online lessons?
Zoom is used for all live lessons, in my Zoom Teaching Room.
04
What resources will be needed for the classes?
Each week, the resources for that lesson are uploaded, ahead of time, and downloadable via my student management system. These can be downloaded and printed as many times as a student likes.
05
Will there be homework set each week?
Homework requirements are different, dependent on the weekly learning. Usually, a small homework task is set to allow for independent study of the maths theme from that week. It is usually a 10-15 minute task.
Are there lessons in the school holidays?
The maths classes run during term-time, allowing the students a break from their study during the holidays. Notifications of breaks for my holidays, during term-time, are sent out to parents ahead of time and a recorded lesson is used for this week. This is very infrequent.

Is there a cancellation charge if I wish to cancel my child's place in the class, and do you need notice?
I build strong relationships with all my families and on the odd occasion that students wish to leave the class, I ask that you kindly give 4 week's notice (and your child is welcome to attend those lessons if they wish).
If I suggest that your child is struggling with the level of work, no notice period payment is required.
